Michael B's Singles Dance is held every Sunday night and is the largest and longest running dance for singles only in Tennessee. It provides a safe and comfortable environment for singles to meet, mingle and dance.
What is The Average Age?
80% of those in attendance will be between 35 and 55, sometimes a few younger and a few older.
What kind of music do you play?
At Legends you can see the music. We have Michael B “TV”…, video monitors are located throughout Legends and we play music videos of your favorite Oldies, Country, Top 40 and Contemporary Christian music.
Is there a cover charge?
Yes, there is a $6. Per person charge for the four hour event.
Do they Serve Food?
Yes, Legends puts out a complementary munchies buffet at 7:30 each night or you can order directly from the menu right from your table.
Does everyone come by his or her self?
Yes, it’s a Singles Dance, men & women come by themselves and sit with other single friends. We strive to make our event a safe and comfortable place for women and men alike to enjoy an evening of dancing. If it’s your first time we will help seat you with some of our single friends.
Do They Serve Alcohol?
Yes Legends is a Sports bar and restaurant serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Is Smoking allowed?
The Singles Dance is a non-smoking environment in the main ballroom with smoking allowed in designated areas.
Is there a dress code?
No, most people come in casual business attire, then again, some in blue jeans & cowboy boots.
Do I need Reservations?
No need for reservations, we can seat 225+ however Reservations are requested on some Holiday events.
What if I Don't Know How to Dance?
Not a problem, we’ll teach you some dances weekly and on occasion have a professional dance instructor.
Is there Ample Parking?
Yes, the parking lot is as big as 2 football fields and is well lit for your safety.
Through the years there have been many friendships, relationships and marriages as a result of the dance. Teena and Fred were both single, loved to dance, and hated the bar scene. One Sunday night at Nashville's "Bar Hoppin' Alternative", as fate would have it they met. After eight months of dating and dancing they got married.
